      Hi Lennen,

      There is actually no one part of the brain that stimulates dreams. Dreaming is considered a “whole-brain” process. There are certain parts of your brain that have been shown to be INACTIVE while you sleep, for example the part responsible for movement – this is so we can dream safely without bodily harm to ourselves or others. (This is why sleep walking is considered a sleep “disorder”).
