If I manage to build the type of computer that I want to build, it can be applied to lots of areas including: machine learning, fluid dynamics, engineering simulations, list searching, and code breaking. We’re still discovering useful applications for the computer every day!

My research may help us understand the causes of neurological disorders such as autism, which is a condition where a person has impaired social communication and they find it really hard to communicate and connect with others! They think differently to others.

Currently, diagnosis of autism is done at 3 years of age and if I am successful in my research, this could potentially help with early diagnosis of the condition as early as 6 months of age and help with targeted therapy.
