      Hi Ella!

An EEG cap is what you put on a participant during an EEG study. EEG stands for electroencephalography and is a technique that measures electrical activity at the surface of the brain. Our brains contain billions of neurons that communicate with each other all the time. The communication takes place via electrical signals that travel extremely fast! This electrical activity can be picked up via EEG 🙂
