• Question: What do you think the names of the planets are in another universe and tell me why?

      It will depend on the language and alphabet of the aliens that live there. But like us, they’ll probably name the planet that they live on something like Ground, or Floor, or Earth! Other planets they might name after their ancient gods like Mars (god of war).

      If humans get there first, we’ll probably name them something weird like “HD 202206 b” or “OGLE-2015-BLG-0563L b”. These are actually names of real exoplanets (planets not in our solar system) that I found on Wikipedia! But there are too many planets to give them all unique (normal) names.

      Like Rob says it’ll depend on who or what lives there, their culture and language. If human scientists find them, they’ll give it a code based on where and when it was found, and who by.

      If I got to name a planet I’d call it Bob. It’s a joke from the film Titan A.E. 🙂
