• Question: Is it possible to take DNA from millions of year old dinosaur bones and mix the DNA with other living creatures to form dinosaurs just like in Jurassic Park as ive read up that it could one day be possible?

In jurassic Park they filled gaps in dinosaur DNA with that of other animals. This isn’t possible yet. Even if we could do this, we’d have to look at animals that are similar and guess what bits were missing and hope it works.

A more likely way to bring dinosaurs back would be is we could map their genetic make up completely. This would take many samples from the same type of dinosaur to make sure that we have the whole genetic sequence and that it’s for the specie was a whole rather than just for a single animal. We could then theoretically artificially recreate the DNA from scratch and grow dinosaurs in a lab.
