• Question: how long would it take to get to Uranus from earth?

      The voyager 2 spacecraft took nine and a half years to reach Uranus. Technology has advanced since then, but it would still take a very long time.

      A very long time! The last spacecraft took over 9 years!

      Because both the Earth and Uranus are orbiting the Earth, it depends whether they are on the same side of the sun or not. (And if you want to slingshot off other planets, where they are.)
