  I make simulations of what is going on inside of cells. I code up what I think is happening, and then make the computer do all the hard work of figuring out what would happen. (It’s pretty similar to how they predict the weather: information about what has happened before -> a computer program -> a prediction of what will happen).
  
  It’s sometimes possible to do the calculations by hand, but it’s much easier with a computer!
