• Question: have you ever invented anything?

      I won a Blue Peter competition when I was 7 for inventing a squirrel feeder! (I still have the badge.)

      But I peaked at an early age, and haven’t invented anything as a scientist.

      Unfortunately no. But, in my PhD project I am using something completely new that nobody else has used before. So in the future I’ll be training people on how to use it too 🙂
