• Question: what is your favourite aspect of your research?

      I don’t get to do much research in my job unfortunately. I am currently working on developing a new marker system to prove quickly and easily if a sample of liquid is a genuine sample of one of the brands that I work with. Its interesting to work with all the regulations surrounding beverages, and seeing what we can and can’t use. Its also interesting seeing how all the different components interact and change the out come of the test.

      Lots of things! Firstly I really enjoy the freedom to decide what I want to do and when I want to do it. I enjoy solving problems and learning new things every day and lastly, its great to be able to work on a project that may benefit others in the future!
